Wreck-It Ralph

This was an amazingly fun movie, I took my girlfriend to it on a surprise date and she loved it. If you are unaware this movie is centered about a video arcade game “villain” by the name of Ralph. Ralph is looking to bring himself out of the dark by obtaining a winners medal to prove that he is more than just a bad guy after his games 30th anniversary. This movie takes you through Ralph’s journey for redemption even if it causes him to create some chaos in a few other games. Eventually he ends up in a game called “Sugar Rush” a candy coated racing game where he meets a glitch by the name of Vanellope von Schweetz. When Ralph teams up with Vanellope to get his metal back in the games race he finds that there is more to the simple race game than meets the eye.

This movie was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it very much. If you want to take your kids with you this would be a great movie to do so. I feel just about anyone could like this movie; though the trailers may look tailored for someone who is heavy into classic gaming everyone will like this movie. Great movie for the family’s or a light hearted date night.
